For the benefit of all slipholders, a copy of the Wharf developer's transition plans with graphic depictions of the Phase II, PUD plan is now in the laundry room. Please feel free to look at but leave the books there for other slipholders to also be able to review. This is similar to what can be found on the Wharf website, but may be easier for some to access.

SWNA Nov Meeting will Focus on Development

Below is an announcement that SWNA has sent out. I have also heard that PN Hoffman and Associates will be present at the meeting to provide a progress report (and make an announcement regarding the development). Try to make it if you are interested (which you should be!).

SWNA November Meeting to Focus on Neighborhood Development

Join the Southwest Neighborhood Assembly on November 23 at 7:00pm for a discussion of development in the Southwest/Near Southeast neighborhoods—past, present, and future. We will view a presentation called “The Bulldozer and the Rose” and discuss the impacts of development on our community. We will also hear several progress reports from local developers working in our community. In the spirit of the upcoming season, we hope to have something for which to be thankful by the end of the meeting. The meeting will be held in the sanctuary of St. Augustine’s Church (6th & M St SW) at 7:00pm on November 23, 2009.
