Update:

For the benefit of all slipholders, a copy of the Wharf developer's transition plans with graphic depictions of the Phase II, PUD plan is now in the laundry room. Please feel free to look at but leave the books there for other slipholders to also be able to review. This is similar to what can be found on the Wharf website, but may be easier for some to access.

GPSA Potomac River Watershed Cleanup

Gangplank Slipholders Association (GPSA) has registered with the Alice Ferguson Foundation to assist with the 21st Annual Potomac Watershed Cleanup. Please join us on April 4, 2009 from 10:00am to noon. We will meet at the North end of the Southwest Seafood Market at 1100 Maine Ave SW, Washington, DC 20024. Parking is available on the street on Maine Ave before the Seafood Market. The seafood market is a moderate to long walking distance from L'Enfant Plaza or Waterfront metro stops.

This cleanup is extremely important to us. The Southwest Waterfront is our neighborhood! GPSA is a group of silpholders that live and recreate in the Gangplank Marina. Since many of us live on our boats, we are especially concerned with our impact on the environment. We are also particularly in tune with the current conditions of the Southwest Waterfront. One area in dire need of a cleanup is located between the Seafood Market and the 14th Street Bridge. Please join us on April 4, 2009, and help us keep your DC Waterfront beautiful!
